[[ Sore throat with a muffled voice ]]

Cha Cha called in the middle of last night. At present, she's facing a few 'hiccups' in her personal life but Insya-Allah, I believe she can make it through. On top of this, I'd like to congratulate this cousin of mine on taking that next step on the corporate ladder. Cha, you may have a lot of steps to climb but look on the bright side, at least that's one less step you have to worry about. Keep smiling, Cha.

This morning, Ma said I'm more on the 'quiet side.' She first noticed this when Singapore Idol was aired on TV last night. That programme has always been a 'must-watch' for the Damri family and it's also the time when the family would interact with one another..You know, like we become the judges ourselves and start giving out our say on who deserves to be in/out. But last night, I was silent throughout the 1 and a half hour show.

In response to Ma's observation, told her that maybe I'm on the quieter side because of the sore throat I've been having recently. And being close-mouthed is perhaps, one of the ways not to further abuse and strain my voice. Ma nodded.

Today, I was touched when Ma made this soup-specially for me. It consists of broccoli, fishballs, potatoes, carrots & tofu. Thank You, Ma. I love you & May Allah (swt) bless you. Ameen.

Ma said I don't look so well..She placed her hand on my forehead and says I'm running a slight fever..Told her it must be from yesterday's incident when I was drenched from the heavy rain. She also added I looked disturbed. Really? I didn't say much but smiled and assured her that I'm fine and will be fine.

Insya-Allah.

Because now, for everything else biarlah rahsia.
