[[ Breakfast - The Burmese way ]]

"Come on, get up now..We've a breakfast invitation!"
Face (still) buried in my pillow, I'm like, "Huh?? We do?"

I ignored the announcement made, but with Ma (and Abah!) perpetually dashing into my room and pulling the sheets off me (not forgetting the quick pillow fight we had amongst ourselves! haha..), there was NO way I was able to stay in bed any longer.

Despite it all, I was all the more excited of this whole breakfast thing simply because I've never really tried a Burmese home-cooked meal. Ever. And so, getting up as early as 8am on a Sunday morning wasn't that bad after all.
Had my first traditional Burmese tea made with fermented tea leaves. Niceness.
Before this picture (below), I took a shot of just the tea itself. Somehow, Abah was in his creative mood that he said, "Tell you what, I'll pour the tea out and you snap"..
And so, this is a father-daughter snap shot:

And this little guy (below) keeps talking and talking...I told him he's like a choo-choo train that never stops. Coming from an International school, he reminds me of me when I was younger. Always asking 1,001 things around me. And when I get an answer from that 1,001, I'll then ask another question from the answer given.
Yah yah...I know I talk too much...
[[ That's why this blog comes in handy you know.. ;-) ]]

He's so full of mischief that I called him "Little Monster" but he insists that I call him "Little Dragon" instead. And when I asked him why. The reply was obvious - he was born in the Year of the Dragon.

One incident was this, I brought him to a sweet shop just a few streets away from home and it was scorching hot.

He was squinting his little eyes and in a way, I could hear him pant.
So I told him, "You know..if you're tired, we can always head back."

In an instant, he went "Oh no no no...I'm not tired. Only the left leg is."

?????

What can I say? I shook my head and chuckled.
Because that, was an impromptu, cute, funny response coming from a child - my little Burmese "dragon"
*smiles*
I'm definitely bringing him out again because at one point, on that fateful day...this "Little Dragon" saved me. Yes, he did.

This is not the end.
This is not even the beginning of the end.
It is, instead, the end of the beginning..
