[[ The beauty of Allah's creations ]]

I was in my room clearing my e-mail when I heard the flapping of wings and a few "tweet-tweets" coming from my window. It kept tweeting away and when I turned, there it was.

Better grab my camera before it flies away, I thought.

Now don't ask me in which of the more than 9,000 species this bird is from because I know NOTHING when it comes to BIRDS..(hmm....)

I didn't want to scare the bird away so I just stood and stared at the beautiful creature, giving it time to make its exit.

But I was wrong. So wrong thinking that it'd fly away because apparently, it didn't! Instead, it made a grand entrance into my room! The first place it landed to was Hilfi's POKEMON Kraks box!

Then it went to the nearest "landing platform" from the window-my study table!

See the part when it flew? When it began to do so, I ducked and went, "Woah!!"

Yes, I literally DUCKED! I thought it had left, but then I heard its "tweet-ings"

Looked around my room and where was it?

Right here:

It was there for a while, till it flew down and landed on my scanner/printer.

Masya'Allah...it's beautiful, isn't it? It had shades of green, yellow, black and white.

The picture above shows exactly how close I was to the bird. I didn't "zoom" the camera or anything like that. Yes, I was that close.

A while later it flew away and again, I had to duck.

It had flown to the other side of my room:

Next it was here. (Yes, birdie...That's my name)

After it has had its free-and-easy tour of my room, it left. Uh huh..and it ended just like that.

Now ever since its departure, I'd always wonder if the bird will bring its "members" the next time it visits here.

Though I wouldn't mind it coming the second time, just one thing I wouldn't be looking forward to would be the part when it takes flight from one place to another. Because then, I'd have to quickly go down, put weight on my knees and bend them at 90 degrees. "Ducking" is tiring and painful....

and you know..it's not that I....erm....get freaked out or anything when it begins flapping its wings around in my room (yeah rite!)...but...erm.... you know....it's just that I'm preventing myself from having any "accidents" to occur with this stunning warm-blooded vertebrate...you know?
