[[ If Boon Hui can cook, so can you! ]]
Ohkay...this story was supposed to be out on Friday 19th, but due to my busy work schedule, unfortunately I was unable to. Though I may be 9 days late, this is something that's really worth blogging about..
Now what's with Elaine going all "oohh..can't wait?"
Well...Let's just say that we've a new chef in town!
It all began when Boon Hui bought this chicken rice sauce after work at Kee's.
All of us were surprised to find out from Boon Hui himself, that....he cooks.
Yes...Boon Hui cooks!
Now how cool is that??!?
(well, it's very cool to me!)
Out of the many friends I have, there's only like 0.005% of them that I know, can cook.
And when I came to know that Boon Hui, who's a guy & cooks - now that's very rare indeed!
Moving along...It was on that special day of Friday 19th, that Elaine & I got to have our first taste of Boon Hui's chicken rice!
Presenting.....*drum roll*.......
Yup! That's right.....Boon Hui came to work with 4 of these plastic containers that had the chicken rice minus the chicken...Sweet right?
And to think that he woke up so early in the morning just to have them cooked really took me by surprise!
Now...you must be wondering ----
what's chicken rice without chicken? it'll just be like having hamburger without the meat!
Well hey...don't start critising just yet because I got this for us:
Ah.....Now that's more like it... *smiles*
Boon Hui's rice tasted just like a stall's chicken rice..yes, it tasted that good!
(though I came to know that the first time he tried cooking it, the rice got burnt!)
.....heheheh.....
Well, the rice that he brought for us that day, looked pretty good to me so yah, I guess the famous "Practice makes Perfect" does work, huh?
Oritey..you people must be curious to find out who is this guy behind the chicken-rice-minus-the-chicken, right?

And again, thanks for letting us have the first taste of your ever-first cooked chicken rice..
Hmm....come to think of it....How about doing the rice again and bring them over to Pulau Ubin next week?
As usual, I'll bring the chicken! *smiles*
