Wen Wei: Errr...NO thanks, Boon Hui...but I can pull up my own pants!

Yup...that was what happened last Wednesday.
It was a meet-up with the "people of the island" with HUMONGOUS "I-Miss-You" hugs coming from the girls....Awwww, sweetness I know.....
I can't help but snap a pic of our 'lil miss Bun...Kawaii!... Singapore's Next Top Ice-Skaters...hah.
Unfortunately, our "cameraman" didn't tell us that Dana's face was "cropped" by my head..
And so ---- Models, TAKE TWO! Aaaahh......much better!
It was all smiles and laughter in the first part of the day but not until this happened:
Yes, here you can see Dana using my phone to aggressively call/sms her phone.
She lost her Motorola and us being friends, we felt her loss and stopped skating..
Boon Hui went to ask the staff if they had found a lost phone but we were surprised that they didn't have any LOST & FOUND counter! We were told that perhaps the security department can help.
And so, we went to the officer in-charge. They were reluctant to help at first because for this kindda thing, most will go, "Oh....there's no way you can get it back"..
But after explaining to him that by going through the CCTVs, it may give us a chance of getting the phone back. "The chance maybe slim but we should at least try."
The officer thought for a while and finally, he allowed me excess to their security room. Alhamdulillah....
I was the last person to see Dana use her phone and that was when we were sitting on the bench, before heading back into the rink.
While Dana was hoping & praying that a nice being would answer her calls/sms, I spent quite sometime in the security room with the officer hoping & praying that we'll be able to "catch" the heister.
It was tedious work because we had to PAUSE, PLAY, REWIND, FORWARD and then PAUSE again and then REWIND etc...
It was one of those moments when I was afraid to blink! Because like what they say - things disappear in the blink of an eye. So yah....I didn't BLINK- well, I tried not to but even if I did, they were like quick blinks. It was tiring too because you have to like squint and figure what it was on screen.....
Close to 45 minutes, this was what happened...
Alhamdulillah........*smiles*
I won't elaborate much on who the pirate was or how we managed to catch him/her because the main point is, we managed to get the phone back. Yes, Ms. Dana.....go ahead...smell it, feel it, kiss it.....because that Motorola? Belongs to you.
Yeay! Let's celebrate and do the CONGA BEAT!
(uh huh...Dana LURVES that Gloria Estefan song!)
After some travelling on ice, it was time to shoot some pool!
Her hug along with a "Thank You, Kak!" made the-running-out-and-looking-for-a-cake seemed all worthwhile..
The birthdays-coming-soon gurl and guys:
Wen Wei was super hungry so we gave him the biggest piece of all...He's happy, We're all happy....
We had Korean for dinner & one thing was mentioned by us all....
No...it's not,
안녕하세요 It's....A-Z-I-E-M-A-H.
