Just one of those moments when Abah & Ma would bring out their golf bags and say,
"Okay, let's go everyone!"
Abah and Ma went busy practising their tee-shots and other strokes,
while Hilfi & I went crazy making our shots on the putting green.

After two hours, it was dinner at the clubhouse and that was when Abah taught me a whole new bunch of golf terms and because Abah & Ma have been sooooo into golf since I was ten, the "PAR", "BIRDIE", "BOGEY", "EAGLE", "HOLE-IN-ONE" are all not alien to me (and I'm sure to most of us) but these ones sounded pretty funny, so I thought I might just share it with all:
DUFFER - one who hits a lot of bad shots.
JAIL - a golfers term for a ball hit into a lot of trees which makes it very difficult to hit your ball.
4-MAN CHA CHA CHA - on the first hole (cha), the one low ball counts as the team score. On the second hole (cha cha), the two low balls count as the team score. On the third hole (cha cha cha), the three low balls count as the team score.
LOB SHOT - a shot that goes straight up in the air and stops very quickly on the green.
SANDBAGGER - this is a golfer who purposely tells others that he is a worse golfer than he really is in order to gain an edge in competition.
SHOTGUN START - a method of starting play where players go to every tee box on the golf course and hit their tee shots at the same time.
SUDDEN DEATH - this is a method of breaking a tied match by playing extra holes. The first player to win a hole is the winner.
WHIFF - swinging and missing the ball.
WORMBURNER - this is a shot, which skims very low along the ground.
