[[ Greetings from Malaysia! ]]

PHEW! That was a long 6-hour ride to our destination and we're feeling "coach-lag" at the moment. The journey was smooth but not until we reached Kuala Lumpur - police cars were everywhere, sirens from ambulances could be heard every 10-15 minutes and people were running all over the streets, waving their national flags high in the air and shouting, "Merdeka! Merdeka!"

The Malaysia International Fireworks Competition is on till 2nd September. Sadly, we happened to miss Team Japan's display because it ended like 15 minutes before we arrived! :-(

Anyhow, no fret because tomorrow (hmm...looking at the time, perhaps I should be using the word "later" instead), on Merdeka Day, Team Global will display theirs. So....Yeayness!

Oritey, we need to snooze now because obviously, we're currently experiencing little disruption to our body natural sleeping pattern. Good Night, Singapore and Happy 50th year of nationhood, Malaysia.
