[[ Poetry comes into mind as the clock watches ]]

How should I not be glad to contemplate

The clouds clearing beyond the dormer window

And a high tide reflecting on the ceiling?

There will be sorrows, yes, there definitely will

But there's no need to go into that

The lines flow from the hand unbidden

And the hidden source is the watchful heart

The sun rises in spite of everything

And the far cities are beautiful and bright

I lie here in a riot of sunlight

Watching as the day breaks and the clouds fly

"Farah, everything is going to be alright.."

Obviously, there's been a disruption to my natural circadian rhythms.

My internal clock is saying "WAKE UP!" but outside, it's only 3:30am.

*sigh*

"The best strategy for relieving nightmares is to confront them with your imagination"

*double sigh*
