[[ தைப்பூசம் - LIVE! ]]

Battery went flat on camera and so, had to make do with the mobile...

Thaipusam - Part 1

In the day, drums kept them going

Thaipusam - Part 2

Claps kept them going as well

Thaipusam - Part 3

0:29 - The Ladies

0:54 - The Men

Thaipusam - Part 4

"Ratham" ---- The Chariot

Thaipusam - Part 5

0:58 - boy having a go on the drums

1:50 - guy spinning while friends/relatives cheered on

Many thanks to Dana for giving me the chance to witness Thaipusam, up close & personal! "Thanks too for your patience, gurlfren!" for answering the many questions I had due to my sheer knowledge of Thaipusam.

I'd also like to thank Mr. Rajesh, Deputy Officer of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), for his overwhelming information of this religious ceremony.

With much surprise and awe, this fantastic live experience has given me an insight into the myriad customs and culture.

This is not the end.
This is not even the beginning of the end.
It is, instead, the end of the beginning..
